Save our brown bin collections! — North Tyneside Conservative Group

The closure of our post office in 2019 was deeply disappointing to local residents. This decision has significantly impacted our community, particularly the elderly which is why I’m urging the Royal Mail to consider reopening a new post office in Killingworth.

With fewer and fewer bank branches around the post office often acts as a vital way for residents to access their money, along with important government services such as passport applications, driving licenses and more.

Re-opening a post office somewhere in our area so people do not have to travel all of the way to Forest Hall would be massively helpful. That’s why I’ve set up an online petition on the issue.
